Absolutely not! We welcome all levels—from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Our instructors offer modifications to suit every ability and ensure a safe, empowering environment.

What should I wear to a Pilates class?

Wear appropriate, comfortable workout clothing. Grip socks are required for Reformers classes. Socks will be available for purchase at the studio.

What equipment is used in your classes?

We offer both mat and reformer classes. Our studio features premium equipment for an authentic boutique studio experience. A mat is needed for heated mat classes. Mats will be available for rent at the studio for a small fee.

What’s the difference between mat and reformer Pilates?

Heated mat pilates: A Pilates class performed on a yoga mat in a heated room, typically 90–95°F (32–35°C). It uses bodyweight exercises and sometimes small props (like bands, rings, or light weights). Reformer pilates: A Pilates workout using the reformer machine — a bed-like frame with a sliding carriage, springs, pulleys, and straps that provide resistance-based training.

How often should I do Pilates?

For best results, we recommend 2–3 sessions per week. However, even one session weekly can improve posture, core strength, and mobility over time.

Is Pilates good for injury recovery?

Pilates is excellent for injury recovery.

  1. Low-Impact Movement: Exercises are gentle on joints and can be modified to avoid strain, making it ideal during recovery phases.
  2. Focus on Core Stability: Pilates strengthens the deep abdominal and spinal muscles, which are essential for posture, balance, and protecting the body from further injury.
  3. Improves Flexibility and Mobility: Restores range of motion and helps reduce stiffness caused by inactivity or compensation habits.
  4. Enhances Body Awareness: Encourages mindful movement, helping you avoid re-injury and retrain proper muscle activation patterns.
  5. Customizable and Scalable: Whether on the mat or reformer, exercises can be adapted to your current ability and gradually progressed as you heal.

How do I book a class?

Classes can be booked online through our website or mobile app. We recommend booking in advance as space is limited.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand life gets busy! If you need to cancel:

  • Class must be canceled at least 12 hours in advance to keep your credit.
  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before class—or no-shows—will result in a lost session. A no-show fee may be charged 24 hours after the missed class.

Can I try a class before committing?

Definitely. Check out our introductory offers to help you get started and see if we’re a good fit for your wellness journey.
